Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is an American actress, singer as well as a writer and director. Her most famous part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's produced, directed and starred for her own movies Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as the bride in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson, her mother was a psychologist and the wife of Diane Benson was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8, 1977. Danielle Benson was her artist younger sister. Benson was raised in a Reform synagogue in the name of the Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. The career of Benson has been booming following the ending of Buffy. She appeared in movies like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Her writing talents have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she was the director of Drones (2010). Buffy states that, after taking the time to count and locate them she found at least 1800 Slayers around the globe, of which 500 are associated to the Scooby Gang. Slayers are now able to be revived when the potentials reach their maturation. Soledad, for example was awakened at her sixteenth. Ruth Connell is set to portray Rowena in Season 10 of Supernatural. It is believed that Rowena was a witch of the ancient past.
