Allison Chinchar is a meteorologist for CNN and HLN. She appears regularly on CNN's 'New Day Weekend as well as HLN's Weekend Express', as in CNN International programs. The station meteorologist was employed as a local station meteorologist on the air in Atlanta, Nashville and Chattanooga prior to joining CNN. The meteorologist has covered fires, flooding, hurricanes as well as snowstorms. In the year 2019, she was nominated to win an Emmy award for her coverage of the hurricane Dorian from the Bahamas. The coverage she provided of the Super Tornado Outbreak of April 2011, when more than 350 tornadoes struck the Southeastern United States over a duration of 4 days, with 200 occurring on April 27th, was nominated as well for Emmy. Because of her training in the field of environmental science, she's reported on earthquakes, volcanoes and natural disasters as well as news about climate change. Chinchar holds a Bachelor's degree of Atmospheric Science, which she received from The Ohio State University. Julie London (nee Peck, September 26, 1926 - October 18th 20th, 2000) is an American performer and actress. Her career spanned more 40 years.
