After moving to Minneapolis in 1996, she began her singing career. Prince was the producer of her self-titled album. Electra began her modeling career in 1996 when she began appearing in Playboy magazine. In 1997, she moved to Los Angeles and became a star as Lani McKenzie on Baywatch's action series (1997-1998). In addition, she made her film debut with American Vampire, a comedy horror. In 2004, she appeared in the reality series 'Til You Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave with her then-husband Dave Navarro, and voiced Six in the animated series Tripping the Rift. Electra was later acknowledged for her parody films including Scary Movie (2000) and Scary Movie 4 (2006). She also appeared in Date Movie (2006), Epic Movie (2007) and Meet the Spartans (2008). Other credits in her filmography include Get Over It (2001)
